Honestly, Ive done my share of clan ass-kissing in WoW as a druid, Im not about to restart an l2 career doing the same thing. While I understand a clan needs support and healing classes to survive, those classes are just not my style.

If I was needed as a different style of DD such as nuking or archer, I would consider it since these are more needed for PvE aspect of the game and are still fun (for me) to play.

Otherwise, I will remain as a gladiator to play for PVP.

hi talus as karrot said we need wc and healers,sws and bd, i know that u want to do a gladiator for pvp, but we are going to do rb for lvl up, if u make a support class u always will be in a party cuz we dont have much suport but A LOT of archers, or u can make ur box as a suport and ur gladiator, and when u want to go and lvl alone u use the gladiator with ur box, i dont knnow :S but is better a wel bufed party that 9 nukers or archers with selfbuf and pots....but its only my opinion, and ur choise, besides we are going to evade all the pvp to focus on lvl, :D

i'm not against glad, its a good Oly char, and we won't have many heroes if all the clan will be archers/daggers, besides, glad can lvl up with daggers without problems

well i agree with that but for oly? u have to do the damn subclass kest and then the noblez kest, and then u can go to oly, it would be easier if u make a suport and sub glad, but again its only my opinion :P

it doesn't work that way , u need to think about those things even if they are in the distant future
heroes are important to the clan/ally

and who cares? glad isnt the only good char for oly,well i think, i have seen heroes necros paladin and even a daguer :S i realy dont care about heros, not all the heroes are going to be gladiators, so first focus on lvl up, if somebody becomes a hero, cool but if not...who cares? not everything i s about heroes so calm down, glad = pvp yeah but first we r going to help the clan,and then u can make ur gladiator with other char :S

and heroes are important yeah, but what about the epics? the pvp? the equipment? nnot everything in lineage is about heroes, lets worry about that later

yes , there are hero archers for example , but they are made another way.there can't be 2 heroes in same class:) so u won't see 2 hero glads at the same time:)and u are missing the point. the discussion is about usefulness of a glad to the clan, i'm not talking about equip /epics here, and the only way that glad can be usefull is to be a hero and to farm Oly, otherwise u don't need him

We have a lot of archer just because I want to catch epics, castle, and pvp fast. For hero u need go 75, sub, 75, noblesse, etc, but u need kill golkondas, and the other raids no? and catch baium no?

The rest of you guys can bash on gladiators/tyrants all you want. Though when daggers and other people come killing you archers/nukers without boss jewelry who is going to be there to save your ass because they are superior PVP class than your own? This includes being at a raid boss. When PVP happens (and happen it will) at RBs you need soild PVP classes to protect the healers, buffers, and main DD. My job will not be to attack the RB, it will be to watch our ass. The BEST defense is a good offense.

Gladiators are still effective at long range by using ranged skill charge, then sonic slashing from a distance. If they get close, then they are really fucked. I would hide behind a wall, warn when people are getting close, and jump out at their healer as they passed by. The HB interface did not support wall bug / radar as far as I know.

Gladiators are effective in melee/archer groups vs mobs, but not so much raid bosses. Main XP does not come from RB I thought. Every class has its strong and weak point, but if you focus too much on one then you will not have all of what you need as a clan to survive.

Whether or not I get hero I dont really give a shit to be honest. Of course I will be participating in olympiad when I am noblesse, but my primary goal in playing this game is to have fun VIA PVP. If I wanted to PVE all day, I would play WoW. Fuck that.
