If your client says Interlude or Throne 1 when it loads you must reinstall a C5 client! If you are using a C1, C2, C3, or C4 client, then you must download and install a C5 client!
Running the official updater will update you to Interlude/Throne 1 and ruin your client! Just follow the steps below.
Step 1: Read and Understand!

Step 2: Download and Install the Chronicle 5: Oath of Blood - Live Client
The C5 Live Client download is over 2 GB in size, and once installed about 5 GB in size. Make sure you are able to download such a large file, have room to install it on your hard drive, and your internet is stable before downloading!

Some players are hosting a "fully updated" C5 client which you can read more about here (http://www.supremel2.com/showthread.php?t=12799). Supreme staff does not endorse these files as we have not tested them, but so far there have been little complaints.
We still recommend you download the full C5 Live Client and the C5 Update Package seperately since we have tested that method ourselves. However, the choice is yours.
Step 3: Download the SupremeL2 Client Pack (Currently v2.1.0)
The client pack can be downloaded via the Supreme Auto Updater or using a manual system patch. Pick one below.
Auto Updater (~1.4 MB) [Recommended / Easy to use / Always Up-to-date]

Make sure you use "Check Files" to download the entire patch! The updater will only download the latest critical updates unless you hit "Check Files!"
If using the auto updater, install the program to your "\Lineage II\" directory. Run the "Play on SupremeL2!" shortcut to start the updater (SupremeL2.exe). When it loads, press the "Check Files" button and wait until all files have been downloaded, and the progress bar is filled. Once that is done, you can push "Start" to start the game.

Manual System Patch (~12,4 MB) [Not Recommended / Hard to Use / Not Always Up-to-date]

If using the manual system patch, copy the files inside to your "/Lineage II/" folder and replace everything when asked to do so. Make sure you install the files in the right place. You should be asked to replace the "system" folder and the "systextures" folder and the "l2text" folder!
After you install this manual patch, run SupremeL2.exe to make sure you have the latest files!
Step 4: Download the C5 Update Package (Manual Installs Only)
If you are using the Auto updater you can skip this step. The Auto updater will download and check all of these files for you when you press "Check Files."
Thanks to Nemeias for creating and uploading the original update package. The file is about ~180 MBs in 7zip, and ~210 MBs in RAR.
This download package will update you from a launch C5 client to the latest C5 version as of April 11, 2007. Just download the file, unzip it over your existing C5 install, and install the Patch afterwards.
This update is REQUIRED to connect and play on SupremeL2.

1) Register a forum account for yourself by clicking Register (http://www.supremel2.com/register.php). It will require an e-mail address to activate. You may make one forum account only as is stated in our forum and server rules.
2) Once you have your forum account, login to it on the forums by clicking Login (http://www.supremel2.com/login.php?do=login). Make sure the account is activated by replying to the activation e-mail.
3) Register a game account for yourself by clicking GameCP (http://www.supremel2.com/gamecp.php). You may make one game account only as is stated in our forum and server rules. Make sure to set your security questions carefully in case you ever lose your password. You will need these answers to ever retrieve a lost password.
4) Once you have a game account click GameCP (http://www.supremel2.com/gamecp.php) and make sure the account status is Active. If not, try clicking the word Inactive to make it active.
5) Now you're ready to login and play. See step 6 below for the details and things you should avoid doing!
Step 6: Login and play!
Make sure that you *do not* run the LineageII.exe updater in the "/Lineage II/" folder. This is the official updater and will update your client to Interlude. If you have run this updater then you must reinstall your client to be able to play.
If you installed the Lineage II C5 Live Client there is probably a Lineage II shortcut on your desktop. Delete the shortcut as it will run the LineageII.exe updater! Make a new shortcut pointing to "/Lineage II/SupremeL2.exe" and run that instead!
To login and play on Supreme, run SupremeL2.exe from "/Lineage II/" or go to the "/Lineage II/system/" folder and run SL2.exe. Make sure you login using your game account and not your forum account. You can make a game account by clicking Game CP (http://www.supremel2.com/gamecp.php) at the top of the forums.
